Adjust the switch program
The switch program can be adjusted freely in terms of function, positions and connections. This allows users to combine an infinite number of possibilities and implement a wide range of control technology solutions.
Adapt the housing
We can adapt any housing that can be represented in CAD for you, including stainless steel or cast-iron options, to provide optimal protection against environmental influences. Our products are fully EMC compliant and can be equipped with a range of handles and accessories to suit your specific needs.
Additional equipment
A total of 131 different accessories in 19 sizes offer an almost infinite number of switch configurations. From key actuators and door couplings to auxiliary contact blocks, our additional equipment is the perfect complement for all Sontheimer switches of one size. For optical or mechanical reasons, they can also be the right choice in the next-higher size.
Personalised branding
Our range of marking lasers allows us to insert your logo in the desired position in our switches.
Adaptation options for every customer interface

Infrastructure
With regard to high-voltage switchgear, the switching speeds and switching cycles are of an extremely high level. We have developed the right switch to meet these requirements.
Renewable energies
Wind turbines are operated in hot and cold conditions. The properties of our custom-made switch ensure that it can withstand both extremes.
Communication
Radio masts in high mountainous regions are particularly susceptible to extreme weather conditions. To meet this challenge, we have designed our switch to be highly resilient.
Construction
The concrete manufacturing process generates significant amounts of dust and debris. To withstand these conditions, our switch features a steel ball handle and a steel housing with a high protection class.
Nautical applications
At extreme depths, there are vibrations and special pressure and temperature conditions. Our solution is a gold-plated contact system and a continuous switching test at -30°C.
